Break-ups are tough and very painful to deal with as they emotionally drain you. The thoughts play 24 by 7 on your mind leaving you with no choice but to sob over your loss. It can be a tough task to deal with, but you will have to come out of it as break ups are not the end of the world.  So how does one get over a break up? 1. Move Out In Open:

It’s difficult but not tough to step out and embrace the bright sun as you should remember one door closed opens up other. Avoid making a cocoon of yourself and rather mingle and socialize with all your friends and fellow mates. Friends do tend to get ignored when you are in relationship so you have to rekindle the friendship and make the move to show how much you need them. Make plans of dinner, lunch, brunches, movies and shopping so that you feel the fresh breeze giving your heart and mind a rest off your ex. Do hangout at places where you have good memories. This helps you get over them faster as the places though look the same; you now have fresh memories with your friends.

2. Avoid Re Bound:

During this whole period any guy who tries to console you will be your knight in shining armour and might as well be your next boyfriend or rather called, new found love. But girl if you do so, remember that you just got yourself in the vicious trap of re bounding. A pleasant smile, a calming voice, sweet words and a warm hug – any of these things can lead to rebound. All you need to know is this was just their friendly gesture to get you over your ex and hence, don’t mistake it to be love as it isn’t. So choose whom you hang out with before going out, and keep yourself off  the dating scene at least till you have totally got over your past.

3. Exploring Avenues:

It’s time to take a new path and make your way in that direction. This can also mean a short journey or travel opportunities. Anything that will keep you away from thinking about him is good. If you cannot take leave, indulge in part time hobbies like painting, dancing, zumba, and gymming, sports – activities which keep you physically and mentally fit.

4. Avoid Overeating or Whining:

Just because he left you, does not mean you can’t take care of yourself as you did earlier. Please keep ice creams and chocolates away as they may give you a sugar rush, but will result in weight gain. Besides eating, stop whining and behaving cranky all the time as this can lead to people avoiding your company. Give yourself sometime to acclimatise.
